e own twenty-five horses - a mixture of Somali-Arab crossbred and thoroughbreds. The majority of these have been bred and raised on our farm outside Nairobi. They are familiar with being amongst big game, have great endurance and are evenly tempered. Each young horse spends nearly a year on safari, acclimatising with the wilderness environment before being ridden by a guest. We ride in the English style, using extremely comfortable French cavalry and English general purpose saddles.

 

Riders must be confident at all paces. We do not accept beginners.

 

We ride between 4-8 hours a day.
Weight limit is 90 kgs (or by prior arrangement).
Age limits vary from about 8 to 80.
Safari groups may be arranged from 2 to 12 guests.
